We are very excited to announce our very own Jennifer Connor was published in Living Midland Magazine last month, featuring her involvement with the organization Big Brothers Big Sisters of Midland. This publication is only printed twice a year, so it is a great accomplishment to see her hours of volunteering be recognized.
Since 1959, Big Brothers Big Sisters has helped children reach their potential and grow into energetic, devoted members of the community. As of August 2017, BBBS served 184 children, whom many come from single-parent homes, or low-income families. Having additional support in these children’s lives has helped many avoid risky behavior. The organization has helped yield their attention to academics and beneficial activities that will help them grow in the future.
Jennifer, an account manager here at Insource grew up within the organization as a “little” when she was only 6 years old. She then became a “big” when she went off to high school and served on the board of directors for 12 years. Now her husband volunteers as a big, and her son is going through the program as a little. As you can tell, they are definitely a family that likes to give back, and we are proud to have Jennifer as a part of our team here at InSource!
